I received this book in return for my honest review.

This is actually a series of short stories surrounding a photographer for a local paper and how she met the man of her dreams.

Kari Martin moved to Maine with her two best friends after catching her future husband cheating on her the day before her wedding. When she meets Jake Isacc on an assignment with the newspaper she works for, she starts to have feelings for the guy. She's afraid to trust her heart with him and so does Jake. 

For the most part, I really enjoyed each of the stories.  The characters were well written. I really liked the way Kari's friends stood up for her and wouldn't let people mistreat her.  They are the kind of friends that anyone would be lucky to have.  I really felt for Kari and how she was so loyal to her fiance. It was sad to find out he had been cheating almost the whole time they were together.  The author took her time building each character to the point you really cared about them.  This series would be perfect for someone who truly believes that there is someone out there for everyone. I give it 3.5/5 stars.
